The phrase "The devil is a liar, God is in control" Banky W speaks out about accusations of cheating

Award-winning Nigerian musician Banky W has spoken out about the rumors of cheating that are circulating. In his sermon to the congregation today at Water Brooks Church, Banky W declared that God is in charge and that the devil is a liar. He claimed that the reason the devil targeted him with a cheating scandal was because he didn't want the congregation to hear his talk today. He remarked that although there had initially been an attempt to harm him, God had the upper hand. Banky W praised his wife, for whom he expressed his eternal gratitude to God because he frequently keeps her on the phone for hours.

“The devil really didn’t want you to hear this message, in fact, he didn’t want us to enter this series at all. There was an attack at the beginning, but the devil is a liar and God is in control. And I feel like the devil didn’t want us to hear this. First of all, he didn’t want us to be free.

If I don’t thank God for anything in my life, I thank God for this woman (his wife). I will keep her on the phone for hours”. 

In addition to allegedly cheating on his actress wife Adesua Etomi, Banky W is also accused of having an unborn child with a different lady, Niyola, who was once a record label signee. According to the well-known Instagram gossip site Gistlovers, the "light-skinned singer and politician" had an unplanned pregnancy with his side chic. He urged her to terminate the child but she refused, especially since she had already aborted two babies for him. Many online users were devastated by the revelation, and many of them prayed that the accusations were untrue.

Speaking publicly, Gospel singer Mercy Chinwo's husband, Pastor Blessed, and Banky, a pastor at Waterbrooks Church in Lagos, said that Banky will address the church membership on Sunday, June 25, 2023.

Don't skip church tomorrow, Banky W commented in response to a church poster that he shared on his Instagram page on the church's program to combat pornography.

"It's the season finale. I'm happy to conclude "The Road to Freedom" series this Sunday with @bankywellington. The phrase will break pornographic chains. As you arrive, extend an invitation. The Lord is Jesus. Reads the poster. Since the poster is so eye-catching, many admirers flooded the comment area to promise that they wouldn't miss the church service in Water Brooks, Lagos.

Following the rumor that Banky W had an affair with singer Niyola, numerous videos and pictures were discovered. Internet sleuths had located a video of Banky W discussing his old behaviors and the strength of resistance. The video shows Banky, who was at church, discussing how his wild lifestyle has held him captive.  In the video, he acknowledged that, despite his best efforts to quit his way of life, he had often slipped up. In case the resistance reappears, it will encounter a house that is full with purpose, Banky advised the congregation. Many Internet users deciphered the message and concluded that he was alluding to his affair with Niyola .
