Omotola Ekeinde boasts that "we introduced Nigerian entertainment to the world before Afrobeats" as she recounts memorable Nollywood films.

Omotola Jalade Ekeinde, a Nollywood actress, has been overcome with nostalgia for a number of great Nollywood productions. The seasoned actress, who has been working in the business for more than 20 years, released excerpts from a number of noteworthy Nollywood films, including Yankee Girls, Games Women Play, Blood Sisters, All My Life, and Kosorogun. The mother of four captioned the videos with information about how important it was for Nollywood to introduce Nigeria to the world before Afrobeats arrived. She asserts that, prior to the rise of Afrobeats, Nollywood, despite its lack of social media and poor film quality, presented Nigeria to the world.

Despite the not-so-good quality… No social media…these movies Broke barriers… Way before Afrobeats we introduced Nigerian entertainment to the world. We still”.

Omotola Ekeinde, whose family moved to the US, previously discussed how living abroad affected her.

The mother of four said in a post on her Instagram account that she has seen many things that Nigerians have tolerated and managed during her two years in the US. Omotola voiced her anger at the needless suffering endured by Nigerians. She believes that we are too sophisticated to be in pain. She conveyed to common Nigerians the message that suffering is terrible and should not be celebrated. Omotola questioned the need for suffering in order to accomplish anything.

Other news included Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde's disclosure of some personal information about her background, including how she nearly became a prostitute. In a recent interview, Omotola talked about her early years with Chude Jidenwo. The mother of four described how, when she was 12 years old, her father died. She added that it was a devastating event that left her indifferent because she never grieved his passing. The actress continued by saying that due to the difficulties she encountered as a young girl, she was on the verge of turning to prostitution in order to survive.
