When a student from the University of Lagos, UNILAG, dressed as Iya Barakat for the institution's costume day, Bimbo Ademoye became upset and started crying. The stunning funny actress expressed a desire to meet the young woman who moved her. The Iya Barakat brand was initially created as a joke, but Bimbo Ademoye went on to say that she is happy that it has grown to be well-known.

“Pls tag her if you know her. Let her know she brought me close to tears. This beauty showed up as iya Barakat for costume day in unilag. For some reason, this got me so emotional. I started the iya barakat brand as a joke, 1 year later, she’s now a household name bagging nominations and being requested by brands. MASHALLAH.. iya barakat to the world .

SIBE IS COMING !!.”

Another record in the Nigerian film business was broken by Funke Akindele. She surpassed her own records for the highest-grossing movie in Nigeria. Omo Ghetto the Saga came in second with 636 million naira, while Battle on Buka Street outperformed it with 640 million naira. The only rival the actress had, according to Filmone on Instagram, was herself.
