 David Adeleke, better known as Davido, congratulated Zlatan Ibile, a former coworker turned friend, on his most recent acquisition. The artist spent millions on a neck chain with diamonds. Davido, who was enthralled by the chain, gave Zlatan plaudits for his ongoing success and victories. Davido was heard praising Zlatan in a video that MC and podcaster Adesope Shopsydoo put online.

He called Zlatan Ibile his younger brother and mentioned how successful the musician is.“My little brother is making money”.

After their argument in 2019, the singers' friendship seems to be becoming stronger every year. 24 hours after Zlatan Ibile was released from the prison of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Davido unfollowed him on Instagram.

Remember that the EFCC freed Zlatan Ibile and 3 other people on Tuesday, May 14, after they had been detained for 4 days.

A few hours after Zlatan Ibile was freed, word spread that Davido had ordered the release and had engaged a lawyer on his behalf to post bail.

Aremo Gucci and Ebaycarder, two of Zlatan's friends, refuted the rumors, claiming that none of the people who expressed support for the rapper on social media had any bearing on his release.

Aremo Gucci claims that dancehall artist Burna Boy and rapper Olamide were responsible for securing the release.

Davido unfollowed Zlatan Ibile because he was upset with him for not standing up for him when he was called out by people in his camp. Also, the message of support for Zlatan that he shared was removed.

Whether this applies to Zlatan Ibile's deal with Davido-owned DMW Records is unknown.

It's encouraging to see that Davido and Zlatan have patched up their relationship.

Last year, Davido bought Zlatan’s T-Shirt for five thousand pounds (N2,716,590.17).

While buying the shirt, Davido said, “I don’t know how much this shirt costs but we don’t buy anything for the same price. I’m the first one to do it, I’m buying this shirt for five thousand pounds.”
