At the Timeless concert, Davido nearly attacks a rough fan.

 It is not surprising to see the music icon on alert at his Timeless event in Lagos given what he has been through in the last few months. The "Dami Duro" crooner performed in Tafawa Balewa Square (TBS), Lagos, on Sunday, April 23, to celebrate the release of his new album, Timeless. His concert attracted large numbers as was predicted because many ardent followers wanted to meet their idol. In a viral video, a fervent supporter who was seen acting aggressively took the stage and pointed at the stage. Unfortunately for him, Davido, who was on high alert, was about to hit the fan, but stage security intervened just in time to knock him off.

Online discussion around the video has been lively, with many praising Davido for being on the ball.

In a good way, Davido responded to a devoted fan who wanted to leave the hospital to attend his concert while he was getting ready for it. Samuel Otigba, the fan's real name, claimed on the microblogging site that he had pleaded with the nurse to let him go to Davido's Timeless concert following his operation yesterday. His first request was denied, but his second, to have Davido's song played on his hospital bed, was granted.

“I’ve begged this woman to let me go for Davido’s Timeless concert today after my surgery yesterday. Of course, you know the answer. I requested for this song while anesthesia was still kicking my ass after the successful surgery. I love this song”.

Luckily for him, his tweet got noticed by Davido and the singer begged him to get rest.

Praying for him to get well soon, he reminded him that Timeless isn’t going anywhere.
