Security personnel informed TMZ that on Thursday, the man, who had come from South Carolina, had approached Rihanna's house and confronted her guards. Rihanna's crew immediately called the police when the man said he was there to pop the question to the singer. Officers put the man in handcuffs, put him in a car, and had a serious conversation with him about his intentions after they arrived.
