 The spouse of Nollywood actress Toyin Abraham, Kolawole Ajeyemi, has disassociated himself from her support of Bola Ahmed Tinubu, a representative of the All Progressive Congress. The actress's public condemnation for joining her coworkers in the Yoruba film business to support Tinubu is hardly brand-new information. Toyin Abraham recently posted images of herself, Tinubu, and Babajide Sanwo-Olu, the governor of Lagos State, at an event on her Instagram page. She stated that this was her first meeting with Tinubu, and after hearing about the plan he has in place to deal with the country's issues, she felt confident she had made the right choice.

She wrote: “For the first time, I met the incoming president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and he shared some of his Ideas, Visions and Strategy to solve the challenges before us, as a Nation. Listening to him indeed renewed my hope and reaffirmed why he is my choice. Jagaban is coming!”

Many of her followers and coworkers have criticized her for being indifferent to the cries of the people ever since she firmly backed Bola Tinubu. Her husband expressed his opinions on his Instagram page in response to the call-out and profanities, making it plain that he was not involved in Toyin's decision.

“Good day everybody, it’s not like I asked anyone of you to vote for any candidate or campaigned for any party and the fact that my wife is supporting a specific party doesn’t mean that I’m supporting her. So, those of you laying curses on my children I rebuke it all and I wish you all the same. And I repeat I did not campaign for any candidate,’ he wrote. 

Recall that a supporter of Toyin Abraham had previously claimed that she intended to move her family abroad after influencing Bola Ahmed Tinubu's election.

The Twitter user with the name @Oyinlee wrote: “I am not a person to do this but Toyin this is beyond funny. Why is your husband, step daughter, mother in law, mother on the UK queue fighting to get visa. Yet you seeing the future whilst relocating your Fam, is that not hypocrisy. Please do better. I await your response. Asiwaju baby, but you dey relocate your family low-key. Toyin, you no go fear God? If Nigeria good, you go find UK visa for your family?”

Toyin Abraham disputed the claims on her end. She added that she would not pursue legal action for the false accusations made against her since she thinks Bola Ahmed Tinubu will win the presidential election in Nigeria.

Toyin Abraham replied: “My Mother In law has never been to the UK or UK embassy. Relocating my family to the UK? I won’t sue you for your lies. I will let it slide, you know why? By this time tomorrow, Asiwaju will be victorious. I know my choice is why you decided to cook up this lie but God will judge you.”
