Before the elections on Saturday, Falz praises the Labour Party, saying, "We have been able to gather amazing momentum for this powerful 3rd force."

More celebrities are speaking out as the general elections of 2023, which begin on Saturday, February 25, heat up. Rapper and attorney Folarin Falana, best known by his stage name Falz, has a powerful message for young people ahead of the election. The rapper has made use of his platform to emphasize the significance of the next election and how casting a ballot is the best method to rid the country of unsatisfactory leadership. In a video posted to Instagram, Falz advised Nigerians not to use any justifications for not casting their ballots in the upcoming election.

He said, “Oya election don come oooo this is my PVC, I’m sure you have yours and you are ready to vote. I don’t want to hear any of that rubbish that my vote will not count, so what’s the point of voting? Oh God, please nobody should annoy me, this is 2023, with everything we’re going through, if there are still some people saying that, then really and truly I don’t know what is wrong with them.”

Hinting at the Labour Party, the rapper opines that they have been able to gather a formidable third force.

Falz added, “Somehow, we have been able to gather momentum, unbelievable momentum for this formidable 3rd force. I say to you it is very possible, forget about all those pessimists, all those cynics that are coming to you, all those irresponsible people that apparently love to suffer and want to keep this status quo forget about those people and just focus on the goal.”

He also cautioned the young people not to let the recent events convince them that their votes wouldn't matter.

Falz is not the only famous person who has spoken out concerning the upcoming elections. Ahead of what seems to be one of the fiercest elections in Nigeria, several celebrities have set up camp with their favourite candidates.
