When she announced the couple's failed marriage, the blogger claimed that a woman had contacted her. The woman claimed to be dating Wumi's spouse, who denied being wed. She confronted her new partner after learning that he was the actress's ex, and he told her about his "destructive marriage" as a result. He said the actress assaulted his mother and said his marriage was a complete mistake.
