"My defining moment" Singer Yinka Ayefele grateful as he celebrates 25 years since enduring horrific car accident


 Yinka Ayefele, a seasoned gospel singer, is celebrating 25 years since she survived a car tragedy. Recall that on December 12th, 1997, Yinka Ayefele was involved in a horrific vehicle accident that rendered him wheelchair-bound. It has been 25 years since he survived the catastrophic tragedy as of today, December 12th, 2022. On his Instagram feed, Yinka posted old photos of the wrecked car and stated that the incident was a turning point in his life. His thanks to God for preserving his life were heartfelt

The singer shared the images and captioned them as follows:

“Its exactly 25 years ago today..Just keep thanking God on my behalf…It Was on the 12th of December 1997. My Turing point..I shall forever be grateful to the owner of my destiny.” Remember how Yinka Ayefele wept with happiness when he was finally able to get up again in 2020?

Yinka Ayefele said that he accomplished the feat with the use of a highly advanced device that was provided to him by a close friend, whom he identified as Hon. Oludare Akande. In a video that he posted to Instagram, the musician could be heard saying, "So I can now stand up and sing wherever.," while being attached to a device that enabled him stand up.

“I feel so relieved of my pain…Hon Oludare Akande bought this for me.You will never experience pains in your entire life. Thanks so much..Dare Akande tinje Obama lamerica… You raise my hope of walking again. I believe!!!” Yinka Ayefele captioned the video.

Following the alleged physical attack of Yinka Ayefele by the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, NSCDC, Nigerians had already expressed their anger. Yinka Ayefele spoke candidly about being assaulted by an NSCDC official in Ekiti while he was returning from performing at an event. Yinka Ayefele reportedly claimed that an officer beat him after he rejected the officer's attempt to forcibly take money from him. He also revealed how the same cop had threatened to rally his coworkers behind him.

“I was moving out in my car after entertaining guests, the officer suddenly dipped his hand into my car to take my money but I resisted him and told him what he did was very wrong.

That was how he gave me a punch on my mouth, I had cut on my lips and blood started gushing out. When I called my security detail to hold him he stood in the front of my car corking his rifle and threatening to shoot me….”
