The American model and actress confessed how difficult it was for her to lose him.

Fancy mentioned clearly that she is not afraid to be vulnerable and to express her affection for him. She admitted that the way she handled their breakup had harmed him and his family.

She knew her behaviors were out of character and that she could have controlled her emotions and avoided being so overreactive.

Fancy Acholonu revealed her breakup with the star a few weeks ago. The American actress and businesswoman cleared the air about her failed romance with the star.

Remember how the internet went crazy in August 2021 when Fancy Acholonu called off her three-month engagement with the actor?

On August 25th, Alex Ekubo and Fancy Acholonu ended their romance by unfollowing each other on the photo and video-sharing platform Instagram.

Fancy Acholonu confirmed their breakup on her official Instagram page, pleading for privacy.

Fancy claims she ended their relationship because they both needed to find happiness and live their truth.

In her own words;

"Hello Guys, I am writing to publicly inform you all that I have ended my romance, engagement, and wedding plans with Alexx Ekubo. I understand that this may come as a surprise to many people. I made the finest decision for myself since it is critical that everyone finds happiness and lives in their true self. My family and I would appreciate it if you could respect our privacy at this time. Thank you very much!".

Many people took advantage of the situation to call Alex Ekubo's sexuality into question.

Her statement, 'Living in their truth,' generated controversy, with netizens and Instagram bloggers alleging that Alex Ekubo's sexuality was the cause of the relationship's demise.

To set the record straight, Fancy Acholonu wrote in a lengthy Instagram post that her remarks were twisted and taken out of context.

She disproved the suspicions that he was gay.

Fancy Acholonu also apologized to him and his family for the way she handled the breakup.

Fancy, on the other hand, indicated that she would not reveal the reason for their breakup because she and Alex had discussed it and he had apologized to her privately.
