After Toyin Abraham's Ijakumo's box office rivalry, Funke Akindele brings "Battle on Buka Street" to the US and the UK.

Funke Akindele and Toyin Abraham have been boasting about how wonderfully their films have performed thus far at the Nigerian box office for a few days now as they compete for the highest-grossing film of the year.

On December 28, Funke Akindele stated that her movie, Battle on Buka Street, has made more than N200 million at the Nigerian box office in just 12 days.

Boxing Day sales of N34 million made it the largest single-day earner in Nollywood in 2022.

"The grace Funke Akindele brings is too great for anyone who seeks to compete with this kind of person; she would only hurt herself in the process." One Christian responded, "She is always going to go before you, you follow."

"Congratulations, dear Anty Funke with a beautiful heart, don't mind toyin Abraham always fighting the unknown and casting aspersions. I had to tell her my mind yesterday saying real people with real reviews then I fell asleep her who come Dey post fake reviews and fake people and she should stop fighting the unknown that the sky is big enough for everyone she block me.

Another supporter said, "God Bless You, Your Movie Will Be Top Most Nigerian Movie and So Many Award Awaits All The Cast and Crew."

Ijakumo was launched on December 23, and Toyin Abraham claimed on the same day that her film had made N31 million in one day and N65 million in just five days.

"On December 26, 2022, N20 million was the highest single day for an 18-rated indigenous language film in 2022." for an 18-rated film during a holiday season. I labor a lot, joor. Toyin proudly stated, "Thank you so much, Nigerians, thank you Toyintitans.

"After all their convincing people not to watch and refusing to sell them tickets at the movie theater surelere, here we are, God is always on the throne, weldone toyin more blessings like, lagbara oloun. " An Ariyike responded.

"Congratulations World Best @toyin abraham, We Are About To Shatter Every Record Ever Set, Aaaaahhhh This Is About To Be The Black Panther Of Nigerian Film," Imagine Ijakumo without the population of child fans and yet Ijakumo is still making waves like no other, nobody has ever done it before this is huge.....World Record Loading." Yesterday, when I was at the cinema in Lekki, some parents were pleading to bring their children with them but the film house said no because it is rated 18. They pleaded and yet no entry. Mr. Nolly made a response.
