The administration has advised Nigerians who believe that legally emigrating will benefit them to do so at any costs. This was stated by Femi Adesina, a presidential advisor, in an interview with Channel Television on November 27. The typical Nigerian, in his words, "has always wanted to flee. It is not just in Nigeria, either. Most of the world's nations have it, especially those in the third world. They consistently think the grass is greener on the other side. You see, the reality is that there is nothing wrong with taking advantage of an opportunity to improve yourself wherever you are in the globe. It's fine if you believe that moving legally will benefit you. Yes, please, proceed! However, you cannot now assert that because people are leaving, this proves a fundamental problem. There are some Nigerians who, no matter how things turn out, would never leave the country.
