After being away for five years, Patoranking's mother surprises him in Qatar.

 










Patoranking, a well-known stage name for Nigerian artist Patrick Nnaemeka Okorie, recently received a significant gift from his mother.

According to news reports, the musician posted a video of his enthusiastic welcome in Qatar on his Instagram page.

The musician claims that it has been five years since he last saw his mother, who surprised him at the airport.

Before his mother arrived, Patoranking participated in a performance at the airport with a group of choreographers, and his expression was priceless.

They got me on this one notice my face at the end. He captioned the video, "Landed Qatar to warm reception and a major surprise, Haven't seen my mum in 5 years, she came to surprise me at the airport."

Nigerian reggae-dancehall musician Patrick Nnaemeka Okorie, better known by his stage name Patoranking, was born on May 27, 1990. Patoranking is an Ebonyi State native who was born and reared in Ijegun-Egba Satellite Town. He began his musical career by working informally with musicians including XProject, Konga, Slam, and Reggie Rockstone. In 2010, he inked a record deal with K-Igberaga Solo's Records, whose imprint he used to release "Up in D Club." Following their collaboration on Timaya's song "Alubarika," Patoranking was accepted as a protégé by Dem Mama Records. He obtained a record deal with Foston Musik in February 2014 and dropped the tune "Girlie O," which propelled him to fame. Patoranking revealed on Instagram on February 9 that he has struck a distribution agreement with VP Records. In advance of the release of his album later in 2020, Patoranking released a song titled Abule on September 28. He previously remarked in 2020 that he had received songwriting inspiration. As some of his main musical influences, Patoranking has named Buju Banton, Bob Marley, Fela Kuti, Lucky Dube, Chaka Demus, Majek Fashek, Blackky, Blackface, Tuface, and Marvelous Benjy. He described his music as a morally minded form of dancehall and claimed that it makes references to sociopolitical themes in the aforementioned interview with Entertainment Express.
