Afrobeats legend, Wizkid hints his new collection incorporates a coordinated effort with a specific vocalist who everybody believes he's not companions with.
The 'embodiment' singer expressed this in a video which surfaced online wherein he surrendered his fans heads on his two destined to-be dropped music collections.
As indicated by wizkid, he's collection contains a coordinated effort with 'someone in particular' who everybody believes he's not companions with and with whom people had said he'd never make a music with.
More Love, Less Ego, the singer's new album, will be released on November 4th.
Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, better known by his stage name Wizkid, is a Nigerian singer and songwriter who was born on July 16, 1990.Wizkid is regarded as one of the biggest and most influential African artists of all time. He is a prominent figure in the contemporary Afrobeats music scene.At the age of 11, he began recording music and released an album with the Glorious Five (5), a group he and a few church friends formed.Wizkid signed a record deal with Empire Mates Entertainment (E.M.E.) run by Banky W in 2009.After "Holla at Your Boy," the lead single from his debut studio album Superstar (2011), which also produced the singles "Tease Me/Bad Guys" and "Don't Dull," he came to prominence later.

1990–2010:Wizkid was born Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun on July 16, 1990, in Surulere, Lagos. He began his career there.He grew up with twelve female siblings in an interfaith household.His father is an Islamist, and his mother is a Pentecostal Christian.Ijebu Ode Grammar School was Wizkid's school.He listened to Fela Kuti, Bob Marley, and King Sunny Ade as a child.Tim Westwood stated in a 2012 radio interview, "his father has three wives."Wizkid stated that he and a few of his church friends formed a group called the Glorious Five in a subsequent interview with Adesope of Factory 78 TV.They were able to put out an album before they broke up.Up until 2006, Wizkid performed under the stage name Lil Prinz.He eventually ran into record producer OJB Jezreel, who prevented him from recording for a year.While visiting OJB's Point Beat Studios habitually, he watched 2 Face Idibia record melodies for his Grass 2 Beauty collection. Additionally, he was present during the Jagbajantis recording sessions for Sound Sultan's debut album.When he was 15 years old, he said that Naeto C was one of the people who helped and mentored him.In 2009, Wizkid signed a record contract with Empire Mates Entertainment.He co-wrote the song "Omoge You Too Much" from Banky W.'s album The W Experience.While developing his craft, he also worked with Naeto C, Ikechukwu, and M.I.He dropped out of Lagos State University (LASU) in the middle of 2009.He continued his education at Lead City University, but he dropped out after only two classes.
With three different women, Wizkid has four children.In 2011, 2016, 2017, and 2022, the children were born.
