Nigerian artists have worked with celebrities including Beyonce, Kanye West, Drake, Chris Brown, Meek Mill, Madona, Ed Sheeran, Akon, Usher, Selena Gomez, Justin Bieber, and many more. Ayra Starr has joined the group of Nigerian musicians that have worked with foreign artists. Peter Psquare responded with a number of emoticons. Not just Ayra Starr, a Mavin's signee, has worked with a worldwide artist. Selena Gomez, an American singer, actor, and beauty tycoon, previously worked with Rema. Selena Gomez said on her Instagram page that she was working on his smash hit song "Calm Down" with him. Selena expressed her desire for her fans to like and enjoy the song in the video she posted with her more than 200 million followers. She expressed excitement at finally meeting the performer who had requested a collaboration when asked about the encounter.
