Reekado Banks, a multi-award-winning Nigerian singer, songwriter, and performer, also known by his stage name Ayoleyi Hanniel Solomon, recently lost his beloved mother.
The singer of "Ozumba Mbadiwe" announced the sad news on his Instagram page and provided details about her passing.
"We announce the departure of our wife, mother, grandmother, sister, confidante, and friend with heavy hearts.
Cassandra Olubunmi Solomon leaves behind her spouse, sisters, kids, and grandchildren.
We beg the general public to remember us in their prayers during this trying time. The Solomon Family," reads the flyer that was put up.
Recall that after losing his suitcase in one of Bolt's taxis, Reekado Banks criticized the firm for failing to assist his producer.
Banks, who expressed his displeasure on Twitter, said that his producer had unintentionally left his bag—which contained a hard drive with his songs—in a Bolt vehicle.
He claimed that despite concerns, the internet cab provider did nothing. He said that the online taxi app seemed unconcerned about his or his producer's situation.
Hello @Boltapp ng, my producer left his bag in the back seat after a ride with one of your drivers on Monday (screenshot of the driver's information is below)," commented @RekaadoBanks in a tweet. The bag, which contains a hard drive with my files on it, has been lost despite efforts to find it.
Bolt responded by writing,

Ayoleyi Hanniel Solomon, best known by his stage name Reekado Banks, is a Nigerian singer and composer. He was born on 6 December 1993. In 2014, he signed with Mavin Records, and he departed the company in 2018. Before signing a record deal with Mavin Records, he performed under the stage name Spicy. At The Headies 2014, Reekado Banks was named Rookie of the Year. At The Headies 2015, he received the contentious Next Rated honor. On September 1, 2016, he released his first studio album, Spotlight, which peaked at number 10 on the Billboard World Albums chart.
The eldest kid of a musically inclined family is Reekado Banks. His mother works as a caterer, while his father is a preacher from Ondo State. All of his earliest tracks were created by his older brother, who also taught him the fundamentals of singing, songwriting, and production. By combining the meanings of the two names, he created the stage name Reekado Banks. The first part of his stage name roughly translates to "strong ruler," and the second part to "wealth."
