Cop killed when thugs storm the Ondo police station

 Late Sunday night, unidentified gunmen assaulted the Okuta Elerinla Police Station in Akure, the administrative center of Ondo State. At the time this report was filed, the incident's specifics remained hazy.

However, rumor has it that one of the police officers at the station was shot and killed by the bandits.

Funmilayo Odunlami, the command's public relations officer, confirmed the occurrence. She declared that an investigation into the assault had started.
