The appointment of Most Rev. Danny Okoh as the new President of the Christian Association of Nigeria has been praised by a political organization called Tinubu Youth Disciples. This was said in a congratulations message sent and addressed to the new CAN President on Thursday in Abuja by the National Coordinator of TYD, Prince Koyoyo Uhrorho. "We, the Tinubu Youth Disciples, are overjoyed to learn that you have been elected the new chairman of the Christian Association of Nigeria, the top Christian organization in Nigeria. We have faith in your abilities to guide the large Christian body and guide all of Christianity as the Lord Jesus Christ commands. Uhrorho prayed that the Almighty God would grant you the ability and the grace to do your new task.
In a statement released on Tuesday in Abuja, the association's General Secretary, Mr. Joseph Daramola, announced the appointment of Most Rev. Okoh as the next CAN President. Okoh, commonly known as Nation Builders, is the general superintendent of Christ Holy Church (Odozi-Obodo). The Christian Council of Nigeria, the Catholic Secretariat of Nigeria, the Christian Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria, and the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria are the three blocs that make up CAN.
Organization of African Instituted Churches, TEKAN, and ECWA Fellowship are more organizations.
