Osinbajo Claims He Was Not Involved In A Car Accident On The Airport Road.
Vice President Yemi Osinbajo has denied being involved in a car accident on Monday morning.
Osinbajo's convoy was said to have been involved in a mishap along Abuja's airport route, according to reports on social media.
However, according to his spokesman, Laolu Akande, the Vice President just stopped at the scene to assist a civilian who was injured in an auto accident. Akande further stated that Osinbajo has arrived Owo in Ondo State, where worshippers were heinously attacked and killed at St. Francis Catholic Church in Owo, Ondo State.
Akande wrote, ”On his way to the airport this morning, VP came across a road traffic accident, stopped to lend assistance, & ensured the victim was taken to the hospital with VP’s convoy ambulance.
”He then proceeded on his trip and is now in Ondo State heading to site of yesterday’s attack in Owo.”
