Adesua Etomi is a Nollywood Nigerian actress. In 2014, she starred in her first film, "Knocking On Heaven's Door" An Award winning Nigerian movie. Toluwalope Adesuwa Etomi was born in Owerri, Imo State. Her father was a soldier of Esan descent in EDO state, and her mother is an engineer of Yoruba descent.She is the youngest of three siblings. She attended Corona School, Victoria Island, Lagos, where she joined the drama club at age 7. Etomi moved to the United Kingdom when she was 13 years old, and later obtained a diploma in "physical theatre, musical theatre and performing arts" from The City College in Coventry, United Kingdom in 2004. After completing these courses in 2006 with triple distinctions, she went on to study drama and performance at the University of Wolverhampton, graduating with a First class.
Her film credits include Falling. Her performance in Falling earned her the 2016 Africa Magic Viewers Choice Award for Best Actress In A Drama. Others include; A Soldier’s Story by Frankie Ogar released in October 2015, InkBlot’s Out of Luck released in December 2015 and Lord Tanner’s Couple Of Days, Adesua Etomi has also starred in MTV's HIV/AIDS Edutainment show Shuga as Sheila and stars as undercover police officer; Amaka Obiora in Yemisi Wada’s police procedural drama series; LasGidi Cops, which debuted in June 2016 on Television.
She was recently in 2017 engaged to An Star NIgerian Music star, BANKOLE WELLINGTON "Banky W"
